The Rehmann family has a long history as sponsors of softball activity. They're best known for their "Green Machine" slow pitch team of the '70's, and for supporting Special Olympics and girl's softball.
The Rehmann team was perennial champion of the league's top division. The team won numerous invitational and festival weekend tournaments. They competed in six MASA state championships winning the Class BB slow pitch crown in 1981.
Rich, Don and Albert not only sponsored teams but were supportive and generous. They could usually be found out in the left field in their softball chairs cheering on their team. They also provided their teams with top notch uniforms and equipment.
